Job Description

  • We are seeking an experienced and strategic Supply Chain Manager to join our team and lead our procurement department.

Position Overview

  • The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s overall supply chain and logistics strategy and operations to maximize process efficiency and productivity.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in retail supply chain management and a proven track record in leading a procurement department.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies that enhance efficiency and support business growth.
  • Oversee the procurement process, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and relationship management.
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply while minimizing excess and obsolete stock.
  • Coordinate logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution, to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Monitor and optimize supply chain costs, seeking opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure all supply chain activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Lead and mentor the procurement team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain performance, metrics, and key initiatives to senior management.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s Degree preferred.
  • 4-7 years of experience in retail supply chain management.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing a procurement department.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics processes.
  • Proven track record of successful supplier negotiation and relationship management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
